I really enjoyed this! I was pleased that there were mystery aspects to the plot in addition to the fantasy elements that I was expecting. There are four more books in this series, and I definitely plan to continue on with it.

Well, that was…20 different kinds of AWESOME! I don’t know maybe more. I’ve no idea. I wasn’t counting as I rushed through this novella. It was, gosh! My favorite read of 2020!!

If I’d’ve known McGuire wrote with such poetry and beautiful devastation, I’d have read her books long before this! Soooo, you’d think I was pining to read the next 5 books in the series, but no. This book was just so wonderful there’s no way the others won’t disappoint me. How could they not? Maybe once the euphoria and rhythm dissipate from my mind I’ll pick up the next volume. It wouldn’t be hard to find…I already have it in ebook form on my phone. Wait for me…I’m Sure.
