The latest in the 'Rivers of London' series - bonkers urban fantasy, who knew there was such a thing?!
(13/09/19) Number 3 in the rapidly growing series continues to build an alternative magical and ‘other’ universe in, and under, London. In which we meet some Victorian navvies in the Potteries and Piggeries, new characters ‘Ten Tons’ & Elizabeth and Zach (half faery or ‘fae’), and humans cousin Abigail and FBI Agent Reynolds.
Its all quite bonkers but fun … I also like the references to Harry Potter and Discworld (Unseen University), what better homage to the place where Aaronovitch wants to be I assume.
