Sara and Eddie meet and fall in love after spending seven days together. Eddie leaves on a planned vacation with the promise of reconnecting and that's where things go wrong. I have to say, Sara was so whiny in the first couple of chapters and I was so over it, but I kept on reading. There were a couple of plot twists that happened and one of them was a little too far-fetched for me. I just don't feel that ending could have happened in real life, but I know other people will enjoy this one.

Arrived home in the bookbox. Looks like a good one! Thanks!
This book was not what I expected. The English countryside setting was a surprise, and I thought this would be a psychological thriller, but it more of an introspective tragic romance. But there was a good twist in it.
Aside from the main storyline, I was excited about the whole clowndoctors aspect. Right before Covid, I went to a circus-themed bar in Ludlow, Kentucky that is owned and run by a former clown who also did clown nursing/therapy. I'll share wrote about it here for anyone interested. I thought it was fascinating!
