This is a story about a woman, Shay, who witnessed a stranger's suicide (Amanda) on the subway. Shay then finds herself drawn to Amanda's life and inserts herself in Amanda's inner circle of friends. That's when the story gets crazy and I had no idea what was happening, but went along for the ride.

I enjoyed it, too bad that she needed friends so badly that she let herself be treated that way. Do not want to post spoilers.

A psychological thriller. I didn't see where this was going and was somewhat surprised by everyone's connections to each other which is revealed in the end.
