Cormac Reilly : Book 3
The unputdownable new novel from the bestselling author of The Ruin and The Scholar.
Police corruption, an investigation that ends in tragedy and the mystery of a little girl's silence - three unconnected events that will prove to be linked by one small town.
While Detective Cormac Reilly faces enemies at work and trouble in his personal life, Garda Peter Fisher is relocated out of Galway with the threat of prosecution hanging over his head. But even that is not as terrible as having to work for his overbearing father, the local copper for the pretty seaside town of Roundstone.
For some, like Anna and her young daughter Tilly, Roundstone is a refuge from trauma. But even this village on the edge of the sea isn't far enough to escape from the shadows of evil men.

it was a good read .... i cannot write too much without giving away plot points, tho i did find some of the connections unbelievable (anna, her brother, reilly ) and the goings on in galway were somewhat maddening - i felt for reilly, so it looks liek teh next novel has him out of there!
worth a rainy day read, or read in the shade of a tree :)
happy reading

Feeling very spoilt with the arrival of three books including this one. Thanks again:)
My reading progress has been slow but no reflection on the book itself. Sometimes life gets in the way of reading. Another good read for those chilly winter days and I will be interested to see what the author comes up with next! This copy has been requested via the OZVBB so it’s in the post tomorrow.
Heading to Western Australia via Australia Post as requested from the OZVBB ! Happy Reading
Thanks very much for this one, jeniwren.
Looking forward to it, but need to read The Scholar first.
A great addition to the series and I think the best of the three thus far.
A very enjoyable read.
Now up for grabs in the OZ VBB.
Chosen from the OZ VBB by amberC so off on a trip northward.
Arrived today. Thank you.
Another good addition to the series.
