Two stories 1 book. #1 He's a Bad Boy. Jackson Moore was the bad boy of the town. One night after Roy, the spoiled son of the wealthy founder of the town hit him on his motorcycle on purpose and Roy ended up dead that night. Jackson was arrested and although not convicted everyone though he killed Roy. Only one person stood up for Jackson, Rachelle Tremont. She said she had been with him all night. Jackson left town, went to school, became a famous criminal defense attorney. When he heard Rachelle was going back to Gold Creek, He took off to Gold Creek to clear up the past and find whoever had killed Roy and clear his name. Also, to make up for leaving Rachelle to face the town alone.
Story #2 He's Just a Cowboy. Heather Tremont is working on the Lazy K ranch when she meets Turner Brooks, a rodeo cowboy. He took her innocence and broke her heart. She married another when she could find Turner, but it didn't work out as she didn't love him and the child she bore was Turner's. Now the child was sick and she needed Turner as he might be a match for her son. She returns to Gold Creek to see if she can find him, and tell him about his son.
Both are good reads.
