The fourth in the series of Lake District Mysteries centred around Hannah Scarlett and the Cold Case Review Team is beautifully crafted and cleverly plotted. Edwards' written style is clear and very evocative both of the atmosphere of the murder scene and of the rather special scenery in which the books are set.
