The Power of Habit
1 journaler for this copy...
This book had so much potential. Habits influence a great deal of human behaviour, and a book about them could have been both fascinating and powerful. If only this had been written by Dan Ariely, Paco Underhill, Malcolm Gladwell, or one of the many nonfiction writers who understand how to transform research into compelling reading. Unfortunately, Charles Duhigg ponderously belabours every point, diluting his insights with too much detail, and the pace of the book suffers. He also jumps relentlessly back and forth between topics within a chapter- starting with one example, switching to another, and then inexplicably returning to the first one.
