Pat Conroys's outstanding memoir about his physically and emotionally abusive father, his manic college basketball coach, and how schooling at The Citadel shaped his life. He uses his senior year basketball team as the focal point of his story. I picked up this softcover copy at The Book Thing in Baltimore.

Thanks for the book! I love Pat Conroy's writing. I've not yet read this book. I'll either read it myself or share it (as I have another copy of this book somewhere in my house).

ETA: 10/27/19 - I'm saving this softcover (c. 2002) and releasing the other copy of this book that I have. The print size is larger in this book! :D

I just acquired a hardcover copy of this book so I'll be releasing this softcover version.
