This was an interesting book. Not as steamy as I anticipated based on the cover graphic. While it's slightly dated (2000) it still rings fairly true and familiar. It reminded me a little bit of a lesbian version of Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin. It's much more a "day in the life" of a group of friends than it is a true romance or erotica novel. It's interesting enough, but fairly short. So many characters are introduced, but we don't get a lot of closure in what's happening in their lives, they're only involved in as much as they interact with the main character.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sending this on for the Lesbian Sweepstakes RABCK.
The sweepstakes book arrived safely today; many thanks! Sounds good, too!
Later: I enjoyed some of the day-in-the-life bits here, but I found the writing a bit stilted. The various relationship ups and downs of the characters were sometimes touching and sometimes cringeworthy - all quite realistic there, for lovers of any sexualities {wry grin} - but I didn't feel all that caught up in the characters' lives. But perhaps someone else will enjoy this one more than I did!
