Lytteltonwitch found this in a second-hand shop and thought I might like it. the story is interesting (being about how a relationship changes when one of the partners transitions), but the language is very dated (the book was published in 2000), to the point that many trans people would find it offensive nowadays. Added to that was the fact that it's written in first person from various characters' points of view, and some of those characters express some pretty transphobic and homophobic ideas, and it's quite an uncomfortable read. But if you can get past that, a good story.
