A fun journey through the world of mathematics, from counting in other bases up to the nature of infinity, and, yes, things to make and do in the fourth (and higher) dimensions. Ok, so you can only make three-dimensional shadows of four-dimensional objects, but it's a great introduction to the mathematics.

Every chapter has practical exercises to try out, so it's not really a book to read in bed (unless you like regularly leaping out of bed to go in search of pipe-cleaners and straws so you can build your own hypercube). A great dip-into-a-chapter read, though.
