Journal Entry 1 by wingResQgeekwing from Alexandria, Virginia USA on Monday, July 15, 2019
I've read a couple of other books by this author and enjoyed them, so when I saw this in a local Little Free Library, I took it to read.

Nate Quinn has spent his adult life trying to decipher the songs of the whales. But when one of the whales he is studying has the words "Bite Me" on its tail, Nate begins to wonder if he might be losing his mind. But that is just the beginning of the strangeness, and before long, everything Nate thinks he knows about whales (and, in deed, life more generally) is about to be called into question.

This story is quite imaginative, and while I initially rolled my eyes a little when the story took its big turn, I ultimately found myself intrigued by the ideas here, no matter that they are far fetched. Couple these speculative ideas with the author's trademark humor, and this becomes an entertaining read.
