Journal Entry 1 by J4Shaw from finding my place, Somewhere -- Controlled Releases on Tuesday, July 9, 2019
Found a copy of this today at Idaho Youth Ranch on Broadway for .45c in their 1/2 price Sundays book sale.
It's one I have already read, so bought to release it for someone else to enjoy.
About the Book:
First published March 13th 2014
Maud is forgetful. She makes a cup of tea and doesn't remember to drink it. She goes to the shops and forgets why she went. Sometimes her home is unrecognizable—or her daughter, Helen, seems a total stranger.
But there's one thing Maud is sure of: her friend Elizabeth is missing. The note in her pocket tells her so. And no matter who tells her to stop going on about it, to leave it alone, to shut up, Maud will get to the bottom of it.
Because somewhere in Maud's damaged mind lies the answer to an unsolved seventy-year-old mystery. One everyone has forgotten about.
Everyone, except Maud . . .
My Review: Read November 10, 2014
I loved this book!
It was so moving, and I can only imagine that it must have been frustrating to write. I plan to look up if this was born through the Author's memory oh her Grandmother.
The reason for it not getting 5 stars would be based solely on the ending - I think I didn't want it to end, and therefore found it was wrapped up too easily.
For a debut novel it was so very well polished, and held my attention completely for the full duration.
I look forward to reading more from this author.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Released here today.
BookCrossing is the act of sending your books out into the world, and tracking their journeys. BookCrossing.com is the website that makes this possible: book lovers share their own books (or books that they have bought second hand, or have gotten from friends) with people they have never met, by leaving them where others can find them.
Each book gets a permanent and unique number of its own, called a BCID (BookCrossing IDentification). If someone finds the book and decides to make a journal entry through this website, everyone who has ever journaled that book gets a message by E-mail and finds out where the book has traveled.
How is it done?
The "4 Rs" of BookCrossing: Read... Ready... Release... Repeat!
* Read a book. (Well, okay, you don't actually have to read it; just grab a book, any book.)
* Get it Ready to go: If unregistered, register it. If registered, journal it.
* Release it.
* Repeat with enthusiasm!
Remember the R's and recycle your books through reading and releasing. Sustainable literature -- what a concept!
If you have found a BookCrossing book, welcome! If you are a new member I hope you will use me as your referring member J4shaw.
