Found on the bookshelf in The Station House, Marazion. This was a perfect holiday read.

This is the first book in the Lizzie Vogel series. I’d wanted to read it before buying the third, which has been recently published. I’d already listened to the second; (on Audible) Paradise Lodge and thought I’d better find out the beginnings of Lizzie’s story. Actually it is all partly Nina’s, as it’s semi-autobiographical. She’s a c h a r a c t e r !

I’ve read and reread Love Nina several times over the last few years and so thought I’d try her fiction. Stibbe is becoming one of my favourite authors.

It’s a bit of a scruffy looking book, probably been read on the beach and carried about by its original owner(s?) but it’s been a great find and a funny read. Hope you enjoy it too.
