It started with a bus crash.
Daisy Appleby was a little girl when it happened, and she barely remembers the accident or being brought back to life. At that moment, though, she became one of the first subjects in a covert government program that tests a drug called Revive.

I haven't finished reading this yet, but I plan to release this in Brisbane, so here are my thoughts so far.
Simplistic. Daisy has only just met Matt, so she doesn't know him well, but thinks Matt is nice...and oh, good looking. Apparently that's all it needs to be trusted, and her to blab about a secret government project, which she has kept secret all her life. As you do (rolls eyes)!! Good looking equals completely trustful, and Daisy doesn't need to know anything more about him. Daisy reminds me of someone who gets their first love's name tattooed on them, because this love is so special and will last forever. Only in Daisy's case, what she did is potentially far worse.
Matt says about Mason (who acts as Daisy's father and has for twelve years), "He's really acts like a normal father. He deserves an Oscar."
What a slap in the face for all adoptive parents. I'm sure they act like parents too, even though they are not the biological parent. Mason is Daisy's adoptive father.
I expect to finish this book, so I will see how it ends. I need to finish it soon, but I have a sea day to read, between Sydney and Brisbane.
