Selected by my book club.

My little, three-person bookclub read this and not a one of us loved it. It was a first Vonnegut for each of us and I think we all agreed that we're just not into satire and none of us was quite in the mood for a book so cerebral. Thankfully it's a fast read with short chapters. It prompted some good discussion about religion and we delved a little bit into just what Vonnegut was trying to communicate, so it was decent bookclub selection. Vonnegut is clearly a gifted, clever writer, he just doesn't seem to be the writer for me.
