Could have been a great book, however, the writer made it sound like a college dissertation.

This is written in a very simplistic style. All the Indians are savages and the white men honourable. Even the Indians who showed the lady kindness were savages. Don't forget, the Whites were taking land from the Indians.. The Indians were justified in feeling aggrieved and fighting for what they saw as theirs. It was a very lopsided account that I didn't particularly enjoy.
