By the author of "Beekeeper's Apprentice" the Russell/Sherlock Holmes series, Laurie R. King. There is also a 2015 movie titled “Mr.Holmes” inspired by the book "Beekeeper's Apprentice" starring Ian McKellen as Sherlock Holmes.
This book goes into several mysteries to be solved by Russell & Holmes. One mystery is the "unexplained disappearance of an entire colony of bees from one of Holme's beloved bee hives" another mystery to be solved are suicides at Stonehenge as well as some very personal mysteries intertwined in the investigation involving Holme's past.
I have enjoyed reading Laurie R. King's Russell/Holmes mystery series.

This book contains interesting information regarding beehives and beekeeping.
