I pulled this from the wonderful box of books you sent my way. I read Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace...One School at a Time and the picture book Listen To The Wind written by Greg Mortenson many many years ago and thought they were very interesting. I know that there was controversy about the first book Three Cups of Tea and Mortenson's mishandling of the money for the CAI. I believe that the organization as a whole has done some amazing things with the schools and programs that they have funded. I'm going to pass this on unread as the little bit I skimmed through seemed very simliar to Three Cups of Tea, and I have so many books on my to be read pile as it is.
