This book is #2 in a trilogy but I read it as a stand alone and there was no problem with that. The story is enjoyable. Killashandra is a Crystal singer who is sent to a distant planet to replace the broken crystal tablets that are part of a musical instrument. Intrigue, adventure and romance follow, nicely done.
