As always, I am enjoying the gender role changes in Sheri Tepper's books of the future, which I have been reading and re-reading for decades. I gave away The Gate to Women's Country at a Solstice Gathering on Bainbridge Island WA, and now will have to re-acquire it for my permanent collection of important female Sci Fi writers.
