"The Spirit Catches You" is about a family of Hmong refugees that emigrate to the United States from Laos in 1980. This is a wonderful story about a family with a sick child trying to do the right thing in a country that doesn't understand the Hmong culture or language. My bookclub absolutely loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I released the book yesterday at the Starbuck's on Flamingo and Sheridan. I left it at the sugar stand after I fixing my coffee. I hope someone found it!
