This is one of the books I chose from the 3 for £5 selection in the Bookwise bookshop in Bewys-y-Coed during a lovely week in a holiday cottage on Anglesey.
I chose it because I've enjoyed many of the mysteries in the Agatha Raisin series but not yet this one.

As mysteries, this series has become ridiculous, totally over the top.
As entertainment, it's still great fun :-)

It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!

Aggie lost her appeal to me a while ago, I got a bit tired of the sameyness of the storylines & the antiquated dialogue....plus I loathed James! Still it's a long time since Aggie & I met up & I'm ready to give her another chance ;o)

Usual shenanigans from Aggie & co. An easy read but this series has lost its charm for me & I'm sorry to say that it will most likely be her last escapade for me.
