Found this in the Little Free Library I visited today in Upminster, Essex. Good find as I’ve wanted to read this one for ages. Will read and release.

This book gives plenty of examples of pretty disgraceful behaviour all round. You get bed hopping, murder plotting and conducting, jealousy and power struggles all round. I’ve not really had a problem with having a royal family, but when you really look at it, their history is actually very shameful! Why do we look up to them and the aristocracy as our “betters”? Maybe we are just too busy trying to survive. Although, I upon reflection, it’s not just rich people problems. People are people after all.
