Purchased this copy at the Book Bank in Alexandria, VA.
Goodreads Description:
The Oni have been searching for the 'out-of-season flowers' - children born from the union of Gods and humans. In the midst of this, an Oni called Ushitoru saves the life of one such child, Masata, and steals him from his family. Now 11 years have passed, and Ushitoru, Masata, and a young human girl have become an unusual family.
Later: Read the first 3 Volumes. Interesting story and concept but hated the adult/kid relationship etc. stuff.
The artwork was interesting too but on occasion it was hard to distinguish Masato from Ushitora.

this book is a bit of a mix. it starts off being sort of a typical supernatural assassin setup, but then the rest of it is really domestic and cute. it seems like this is to set up the next book, so i'm going to have to wait and see how things develop. the art style is so extreme that it feels like caricature, and i agree that the two main male characters are kind of hard to tell apart. i'm not really sure where this is headed and how the tragedy and the comedy are going to play out, but it's nice that it came with the other two books so i don't have to wait very long to find out what happens next. :)
