A Whiskey Creek Novel depicting Sophia DeBussi and Ted Dixon as the main characters. Sophia and Ted had once been a hot romantic item, but she had gotten pregnant and married the rich and powerful but abusive Skip DeBussi. While on a anniversary cruise aboard their yacht, Skip vanished. When the police came along side to announce that his body had come ashore in Rio. Shortly there after the FBI had come calling as Skip was being investigated for fraud, among other charges. Her nightmares had not ended but continued on even after his death. Now, she was losing everything, her house, her car and she was alone with only her daughter. In steps Ted and offers her a job as his maid, cook and clerk, it's the lifeline she needs to start her climb out of the hole she finds herself in. A very good read.

Finally got back to some reading in time for Christmas in July. Enjoyed this book even though I could relate to a few parts. Now I need to find some more Christmas books
