To qualify for this bookbox, a book simply has to be the FIRST BOOK PUBLISHED by that particular author, the genre or when it was published doesn't matter.....
….but please don't send a box on that has only books of one genre in it. Try & mix it so there's something for everyone's taste (hopefully!)
… & don't get caught out with a book that is first in a series but NOT the first that the author had published :o)
Otherwise my usual "rules" apply:
1. There must be a minimum of 5 books in it. You can take out up to 3 books but you MUST send on one for each one you remove.. Feel free to add extra as long as....
2....the package weighs under 2KG. This is just to keep costs down. (Postage is currently at £3 second class for up to 2KG)

Gosh sorry have had this for so long! It’s ready to move on- hopefully in the next couple of days as I have to go to the post office for other things.

Well, I had meant to get to the Post Office today but as last night's thunderstorm fried our landline, I have been awaiting some acknowledgement and (possible) resolution of the problem. However, nothing as yet. I will go tomorrow morning anyway and if they get in touch, so be it! A long explanation to say sorry for the delay in sending but it is on its way.

After hearing from Hermes that "parcel damaged beyond repair", Nataliec7 has heard that "unfortunately the item has become damaged within the network and disposed of"- oh no !!! So it would appear that this box & it's contents have gone to the Great BookCrossing Library in the Sky :o(
Hopefully we might be able to get it running again in the New Year.

The box is here but sadly it is damaged. We got back from a supermarket trip to find a card saying there was a parcel left in the back garden. It had obviously been thrown over the locked side gate. The books are ok but I'll have to find a new box before I can pass it on.
