Eleanor Roosevelt was an extraordinary human being and as a devoted wife, saw her husband, President Franklin D. Roosevelt through difficult political times and his fight against polio. Her life after his death was remarkable. A good read.

Culling the shelves a bit and I think I will move this one along. I did skim through it but did not read it cover to cover. In the interim, though, I have read more about Eleanor Roosevelt and I agree that she was a remarkable woman, ahead of her times in so many respects.

What you have in your hands is an honest-to-goodness gift, no strings attached. You may keep it forever and ever, pass it on to a friend, or release it into the wild like I did.
