Received 7/6/19 in an unexpected parcel. I suspect this one may well wait a couple of months and then find its way elsewhere! (The title is a clue there).
Well, I was correct! Read and enjoyed whilst trying to fight this cold bug! so hope no bugs are harbouring in the pages .....
An Earl Beneath the Mistletoe; Louise Allen
Hugo, Earl of Burnham, hates Christmas! Snowbound in widow Emma Weston's cosy house, with her young twins, he's surrounded by festive spirit. Can Hugo's cynical heart be melted?
Twelfth Night Proposal; Lucy Ashford
Leaving London to claim his estate, Theo Dalbury finds remote Derbyshire and country girl Jenna surprisingly appealing. Jenna will give him a yuletide that he'll never forget!
Christmas at Oakhurst Manor; Joanna Fulford
Vivien is looking forward to Christmas, until she has to share it with Max Calderwood, who once broke her heart.
All three of these short tales are very pleasant easy reading and in season for the package I am putting together. Strangely, all three all have lots of snow involved as well, yet I have known very few (if any) real Christmasses with snow - and I was in Scotland as a child!! Maybe if I had been in the hills it would have been different, but not in the coastal town and city we lived in. Anyway, I forgive them as for the purposes of these tales it is a useful device - or tells us more about global warming than we may wish to contemplate in the festive season.
There is a plan for this ....
