How the first woman on the Supreme Court, a Republican appointed by Reagan and the second woman on the Supreme Court, a crusading former ACLU litigator appointed by Bill Clinton supported each other and brought the perspective of women to the Court. Ginsburg's career has focused on a long-term push to bring legal equality to women. Hirshman shows the progress RBG accomplished and how recently, fighting a losing battle to protect those gains, she is leaving a legacy of dissents for the future.
Hirshman highlights what difference having women on the Court have made.
I occasionally got bogged down in the references to to cases.
