Picked this up a little while back in a Little Free Library in Kensington, San Diego, CA. Loved it. Very impressed with the author's ability to construct a grim world that yet still contained meaning and even some hope. Beautifully written in a style that portrays moments of beauty and compassion in the midst of a bleak world. Started and finished in less than a week. Not that it's a necessarily fast read. Just couldn't seem to put it down.
