I found this hardcover at a local thrift shop. It's a look at the art of boat-building, centering on the Brooklin Boat Yard in Brooklin Maine, as designer Joel White designs a wooden racing yacht and the craftsmen shape each part to his specifications. I like reading about how things are made, and there is a lot of marvelous information and history here as well as a peek at the personalities involved.
