This slim volume looks at a real-life event: in 1931, seventeen-year-old Jackie Mitchell had a chance to pitch to Yankee stars Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.
Written by Jean L.S. Patrick, adapted by Emma Carlson Berne, illustrated by Ted Hammond and Richard Pimentel Carbajal.
