Homegoing follows the parallel paths of two half sisters in 18th century Ghana, unaware of each other, one who married an Englishman, one who became a slave, then follows their descendants.

One day I will write up my review and add it here.

Released 1 yr ago (8/11/2019 UTC) at Turku, Varsinais-Suomi / Egentliga Finland Finland
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Excellent book, easily one of the best I've read this year! Such lively (albeit quite horrible, many of them) accounts of the lives of many generations, interesting stories that really made you care about the characters' fates, just overall very well-written. Will be looking forward to whatever comes from this author next.

Less than 300 pages, but so many years and so much people, I would have been totally lost without the family tree on one of the first pages.
Sending along as a wishlist surprise.
