Burble: The perfect ingredients for a contemporary love story: two lonely people, a chance meeting at a life drawing class, an almost instant attraction. But why do Jessie and Patrick keep misunderstanding each other? What is it that conspires to keep them apart? Down Among the Gods is an urban romance with a difference — an extraordinary, disquieting tale. From fantasticfiction.com

Journal Entry 3 by wingrainbow3wing at Red Kite Cafe in Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom on Tuesday, July 9, 2019

Released 4 yrs ago (7/8/2019 UTC) at Red Kite Cafe in Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I had some books left over at the end of the day [see above] or perhaps I ought, more correctly, to say I ensured that a couple of books I wanted to read where still in my bag at the end of the day. However, my To-Be-Read book piles are ridiculously huge and as I want to de-clutter tough decisions have to be made and this is going travelling.

So I snapped this off a book pile as I zoomed to the lovely Red Kite Café* to meet a chum, it’s now hours later that I am actually making this ‘release journal entry! The narrow wee shelf I leave books is on the right of the door on entering the café, it extends to the window, and also houses gorgeous greeting cards [for sale] and leaflets about local arts & craft events.

Today’s food treats for me compromised of a hearty bowl of carrot, coconut, lentil and tomato soup with a large slice of sourdough bread and a chunky wedge of a curry spiced focaccia, [OK that’s my take on what I had, I forget how it was described on the menu.] I need not fret about the details suffice to say it was fabulously tasty and went beautifully with the soup. Using the ochre toned last tasty morsels of focaccia to clean my soup bowl was fun! Then a 'chocolate rich', salted chocolate brownie accompanied by a lushly flavoured coffee completed my food treats from the divine Red Kite Café kitchen, I’ll be back!
