I got this softcover at a local Salvation Army thrift shop. It's about three teens with special abilities who go to train at the Black Lotus school. Set in an alternate-reality where the world is run by a Samurai Empire, the story includes a quest through time - back to Japan's "warring states" period... Looks to be a lively, action-packed team-of-comrades story.
