The Secret Garden is a classic, and it's probably one of my favourite books! I used to be an actress, and I used a passage from The Secret Garden as my audition piece when I landed the most important role of my life! I"ve read and bookcrossed it many times over the years.

This Puffin Classics edition of The Secret Garden was purchased from a charity shop in my hometown of Cambridge, ON. My husband and I are planning to do a little adventuring together over the upcoming long weekend, and I think I will take this book along for the ride.

My husband is a big fan of Cracker Barrel and a roadtrip a few years ago we were given a Cracker Barrel Map of Fun, so when we are in the States we tend to check the Map of Fun and try to check off a new-to-us Cracker Barrel if there's one in the area. We are on our first trip to Detroit this weekend, so we thought we'd have brunch across the border check off the Roseville Cracker Barrel on our way down. Crossing at Sarnia/Port Huron took literally hours, so it was the afternoon by the time we made it to Roseville... But we stopped and I left this book there. I put it on the checkers table at the front of the seating area.
