I bought this book at a local charity shop in my hometown of Cambridge, ON. The title caught my attention because my mother loved Grape Nut ice cream and was excited to get us kids to try it when we were little. I am positive that I have been asked what a grape nut is when I have related that story to people... and I know the answer from experience, of course!

Anyway, after I initially picked the book up because of the Grape Nut thing, I saw that it's a question-and-answer, trivia type book relating to the CBC. I thought it would be good for an upcoming release challenge here on BC, so I brought it home!

I read through this book today. I thought it was pretty fun! I knew some stuff, I learned some stuff, and some stuff I questioned as I'd actually learned a different explanation along the way.

One negative thing about this book is that some of the information is dated now, since the book was published in 1991. It's not that big a problem though as most of the stuff probably hasn't changed.

I am hoping to release this book in a few weeks as part of the Canada Days Release Challenge, so I am setting its status to Reserved for now.

Released 4 yrs ago (7/2/2019 UTC) at CBC-Radio Canada building in Sudbury, Ontario Canada

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I released this book in Sudbury on the homeward stretch of a whirlwind roadtrip to Saskatchewan. We are behind schedule, but being in Sudbury this evening means we will in fact make it home late tonight, so that's a reason to celebrate! We had something to eat at Harvey's in the Rainbow Centre, then went across the street where I left this book propped against the window of the Sudbury CBC building, in front of the broadcast studio section.

If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome. We'd love it if you'd stick around with us a while. I really hope that you enjoy both this book and the whole bookcrossing experience!

-This book was released as part of the 2019 "52 Towns in 52 Weeks" Release Challenge. Sudbury was town #44 for me!
-This book was released as part of the 2019 "Canada Days" Release Challenge. There is a special CBC Connections theme to the challenge this year, and this release has a double theme, I guess-- it's a book of questions and answers from a CBC Radio show, and it was released at a CBC Radio broadcast studio!

has some of the coolest facts, well not the coolest but most are pretty alright.

Journal Entry 5 by sbperron at Nanjing, Jiangsu China on Tuesday, January 21, 2020
I picked it up in Sudbury when visiting family and have brought it with me to my home in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China where I will leave it for someone else to find. I hope it goes around the world.
