One day, my husband brought me home a set of the current-at-the-time Happy Meal books. I wasn't sure why, but I love books and we tend to support Ronald McDonald House Canada, so I figured they were just a random present. Recently he told me that he actually meant for me to bookcross them, so I am registering them now for that purpose!

After registering and labelling a bunch of books this afternoon, I quickly read through this one. I thought it was kind of silly, but it was funny sometimes and made a good point about the benefits of learning new things and facing your fears.

I plan to keep this book moving along, but right now I don't know when or where it will be released.

I released this book at Centennial Park, in the bow of the pirate ship play structure, on top of a little keg! I was in Barrie a couple of weeks ago for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope and was really impressed with the playground at Centennial Park-- especially the pirate ship! I knew I had to come back this week and release a pirate book there!

It was part of the 2019 Pirate Release Challenge (pirate books, between Sept. 15 and 22), the 2019 Sapphire Release Challenge (blue books in September), and the 2019 "52 Towns in 52 Weeks" Release Challenge! I've actually completed my 52 already, but I've kept on going... Barrie was Town #61 for me!
