Really enjoyed Everything, Everything, this wasn’t up to the same level unfortunately but still a good read. Reserved for Daffodil-2.

REVIEW:-"At first I wasn't sure whether I liked the style in which this book was written and found it a little disjointed, but I soon got fond of the characters of Natasha and Daniel and enjoyed watching their love story evolve. It wasn't too cheesy and gave some good insights into racial discrimination and family disputes caused by poverty and misunderstandings."
Reserving for another bookcrosser.

I already have books travelling in many countries around the world-a list can be found on my bookcrossing profile.

When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of. Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.

Thank you so much for sharing this book.

18 Aug 21 - This is a difficult one for me to review. So let’s get the negative out the way first. It’s cheesy and it’s sickly sweet at times so if you are not a fan of romance/love at first sight type story lines this book probably isn’t for you.

And now the good. I liked the way it was written with the two different perspectives in short bursts meaning you get to see both sides of the story as you go along. I also liked the way it was interspersed with little snippets of characters they met along away or of there families. The fact the were both from different countries but living in America, and how their families still being tied to their original countries tried to influence the lives of their children. And it brings up the question of fate. I’m not sure if I believe or not but I have had things happen to me that have resulted me ending up in a particular place at the right time, wondering if things had gone as planned, I’d of been too early or too late to offer the help...

This arrived today, thank you! My first thought was “oh no, I think I’ve read this one” but reading the blurb I’m sure I haven’t, I think her other book has a similar cover. Look forward to reading this one.

Aww, just what I needed on a wet, end of the holidays weekend. Romantic, unlikely and light but at the same time, gently poking at the fabric of institutionalised racism in the USA. Good read.
