I found this softcover in this Little Free Library in Milford NH while dropping off some books of my own. I enjoyed the animated film and just had to pick up the book. It's about a young witch who has to figure out how to earn her own living, and takes up the delivery job since she can use her magic to help speed things up. The stories feature different adventures as she meets people. [There's a TV Tropes page on the anime, and with some comments on the differences from the book.]
