The Only Life I Could Save

advanced reader copy.
expert on addiction, katherine ketcham, shares her personal experiences and insights as a parent of a child on the path to recovery.
candid and believable. this mom/addition expert even missed the signs of her son's slide into drug use, then abuse and addiction. even knowing all she did, having done the research, written the books, spoken on the topic and coached both kids and parents who were battling the disease, ketcham still didn't see what was happening in her own home. it's hard to be a human...even harder to be a parent.
please enjoy this book and pass it along to someone/anyone you think might enjoy it or gain from it. if you don't want to personally hand it to someone, please simply be kind enough to leave it in a public place like on top of a newpaper box for someone else to find. it'd be great if just stuck a post it note to the front that said something like "I'm not a lost book, I'm free and traveling. Please pick me up and enjoy me."
thanks for taking the time to journal here (you can do so completely anonymously if you so choose.)

handing off to my RN/medical friend via husband mail. she'll not likely journal but i know she'll read this and has asked to 'borrow' it. hopefully she'll then do as i've suggested and hand it off to another interested party or leave somewhere public with a post it note to indicate it's a free (not lost) book traveling.
