I've enjoyed Doescher's wonderful retellings of the "Star Wars" movie plots in the form of Shakespearian plays (see my comments on one here), and was delighted to see that he's branched out to other films now. Got this softcover from Barnes and Noble. It's a retelling of the movie Mean Girls, which I haven't seen; I expect I'd enjoy the book more if I did know the film, but it's pretty entertaining anyway. There are lots of pop-culture references tucked into the text, and some amusing choices of Shakespearian themes and characters attached to the film's main characters.

I left this book on the "Millennium Child" sculpture outside the Stone House in Greeley Park on this lovely day. (The wistaria in the scent-garden is in full bloom!) Hope the finder enjoys the book!
