I found this softcover at a local thrift shop. It uses episodes of the long-running TV series "C.S.I." to examine a variety of real-world forensic techniques and practices, comparing the actual methods and their limitations with the sometimes-far-fetched TV versions. I've read a lot of true-crime and forensic-pathology books, so this book didn't reveal a lot that I hadn't encountered before, but I found it an entertaining introduction to forensic science - especially if you're a fan of the show.
I'm adding this to the Science and Technology bookbox, which will be on its way again soon. Hope someone enjoys the book!
