The 1st line of this book is
"Just when you think you've got the whole game knocked and are ready to settle back for the sweet ride of comfort and security, life comes along and deals you a hand you wouldn't bet on in a penny ante with a bunch of Cub Scouts".
The "Buzz" book is non-fiction/science which mentions the Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) which is adversely affecting the worlds bee populations/societies and is caused by humans due to destruction of habitat, chemical poisoning Bayer/Monsanto, climate change etc.
weirdly coincidental, the "Catseye Gomez" book starts way in the future in the 23rd century and starts out by describing the destruction of human society in the age of "The Collapse" pre-23rd century. " The Collapse" in the Gomez book
(science fiction/fantasy) is about the collapse of human society caused by the same things that we R currently doing which is destroying our environment and killing bee societies today...
BTW Catseye Gomez is a talking, thinking cat, a detective noir, who loves reading crime novels by Mickey Spillane, Dashiell Hammett and other 1940-50s noir writers. He refers to them as authors of the "pre-collapse times, the "olden days". The cool thing about the 23rd century is that magic ala Merlin (old tyme) returns to society in a big way.
From this story...It's good to know there R still books way into the future and readers who seek them. 😊 A little "Fahrenheit 451" vibe.
To the person who finds this book.....
Keep it or release it, read it or not, but please make a journal entry to let me know it's been found. Keep it, pass it on to a friend or release it into the wild.... let the journey continue.....
