WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Dear book, have a fun travel! :)
Picked up from the station in Nijmegen. I’ve just read Ways of Escape, Graham Greene’s later autobiography, and this novel is one of his books I’d like to read.
Journal Entry 4 by bookguide at Piet Hein van Eek in Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant Netherlands on Friday, January 13, 2023

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Wonderful, but my notes don’t really add up to anything approaching a review.
“There was a time when she would laugh at my anger, simply refusing to believe that it was genuine, just as she refused to believe in her own beauty, and I would be just as angry because she refused to be jealous of my past or my possible future. I refuse to believe that love could take any other form than mine: I measured love by the extent of my jealousy, and by that standard of course she could not love me at all.”
Released at the New Year’s meeting in Eindhoven.
