This is a romantic and charming book, the characters are people you get to know and miss as soon as the book is finished. The weaving of the stories of the lost things in with the stories of the main characters is thoughtful, and uplifting. The house at the core of this story is described in loving detail and becomes a place you recognize in your mind.
