having read and enjoyed both of Setterfield's previous offerings (The Thirteenth Tale and Bellman & Black), i was beyond excited to find this offered as a freebie at my local book trader since it was a pre-release ARC (advance reader's copy). as with her previous offerings, Setterfield did not disappoint! her writing draws you in from the first and the nuances and twists of the storyline keep you rushing back for more any time you have to put the book down .
