Picked up unregistered at Brigantes Bar. This is the 1994 edition, published not long after "Soul Music"- there have been several others since!
While obviously a reference work for Discworld nerds, this was surprisingly readable, as it keeps to the tone of the actual novels. It was pretty interesting to read a version of this book published 16 volumes into what turned out to be a 40-book series: several bits of world-building that originated as throwaway jokes ended up inspiring whole novels, such as the description of the Agatean Empire. Some good "behind the scenes"articles in the back, too.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Releasing at the York Bookcrossing Meetup.
Looking forward to filling the gaps in my knowledge of the Discworld.
I think most of this information would be known to any fan of the Discworld, but it's an enjoyable read, and nice to have all the information in one place. And the essays at the end are very interesting.
To be taken to the August meeting of the York Bookcrossers' Meetup, in the Brigantes pub, Micklegate.
